I recently spent the weekend in Kenmare on the West Coast of Ireland for the annual TAG meeting of the British Islands members; this year was complemented by four visiting members from North America. During the return journey (which included four airports, several delays, lost golf clubs and a race in a taxi to make the final flight home), the question arose as to why it was worth making such efforts to attend these events.

Basil Bielich to attend TAG Paris Conference
Peregrine director Basil Bielich will be heading to Paris to attend the TAG Alliance annual spring conference in May. Taking place between the 3rd and 5th of the month, the conference is expected to attract more than 200 delegates from around the world.

London Tax Expert gives presentation at Burleigh Manor
Peregrine Corporate Services Limited (“Peregrine”) welcomed guests to Burleigh Manor on Tuesday 28th March to a presentation about changes in UK Tax Legislation and the potential impact for those in the Isle of Man. The presentation was given by Liz Cuthbertson, a senior tax partner from Mercer & Hole Accountants in London.
